Kenneth Randall “Randy” Evans
is the managing partner of the firm and a Senior Trial Lawyer, having
tried more than 140 cases and handled more than 1,200 files to
conclusion. His practice consists primarily of casualty and insurance
defense litigation. Randy’s trial and case handling experience
includes death and other significant injury cases, as well as fraud
cases. He also handles business interruption, employment, general civil, workers compensation
and corporate litigation.
Randy graduated from Georgetown
University (School of Foreign Service) in 1982 and Louisiana State
University Law School in 1985. At LSU, he was a member of the Moot
Court Board and a Semi-Finalist in the Robert Lee Tullis Moot Court
Competition. He has been admitted to practice in all Louisiana state
courts, the U.S. Eastern and Middle Districts of Louisiana, and the
U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeal.
Randy began his legal career at a
local insurance defense firm where he was promoted to Partner after
five years. Three years later, he started his own firm, where he
continued handling his current clients’ files. Randy is a member of
the New Orleans, Louisiana State and American Bar Associations;
Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel; American Judicature Society, and Defense Research
Institute. He is active in local, state and national politics, and has
served on the boards of several local political organizations, and on
the campaign committees of many elected judges and other officials. He
has also served on the fundraising committees and boards of several
non-profit and charitable organizations. |
