For 25 years, Evans & Clesi
has maintained the highest rating for outstanding competence and ethics (AV) given by Martindale Hubbell Attorney Peer Ratings, the national gold standard by which attorneys are rated.
We are a small, New Orleans-based law firm that began in 1994 when Randy Evans left his prior firm and his major client State Farm allowed him to take files with him. He was joined by Tony Clesi in 1996. Since that time the firm has handled thousands of cases and hundreds of trials. Evans & Clesi continues to represent State Farm, other insurance companies, small companies, and individuals.
Randy Evans has been practicing law since 1985. Tony Clesi retired a number of years ago, and sadly recently passed away. Our valued associate, Alex Granier, has been with the firm since 2016 and Jeanne Lazarre Billings is Of Counsel.

Since most cases settle, not every case needs to be approached with a trial in mind. We use our expertise to determine the amount and type of discovery, the need for certain motions, and whether experts are needed.
When we receive a case, we can quickly determine the best approach to manage the case, and we can identify whether a trial will be necessary. This provides our clients with a clear understanding of anticipated costs and timeframes.
